Project overview
Caledon Station Homes is one of the largest master-planned communities currently proposed for the Town of Caledon. Positioned at the intersection of The Gore Road and King Street in the hamlet of Macville, the community is bounded by Humber Station Road to the east, The Gore Road to the west, and King Street to the south, with the CP Railway corridor running along its eastern edge.
The development is being brought forward by a consortium of established GTA builders: Argo Development Corp of Burlington, Ontario, which has operated in real estate development for more than 25 years, alongside TACC Developments, Paradise Developments, Mosaik Homes, Greenpark Group, and Fieldgate Homes. Together, the group has planned a mixed-use, transit-oriented community of roughly 4,042 homes, spanning condominiums, freehold townhomes, and single-family houses.
The site plan calls for more than 75 acres of parks, ponds, and cycling-oriented trails, a library, a community centre, and two schools, all connected by a walkable network intended to let residents live, work, and shop without needing a car for daily errands. A retail-and-office hub, referred to in planning materials as "The Hub," is planned adjacent to Provincially Significant Employment Zone 15, combining shops, cafés, and workplaces in one activity centre.
Caledon Station Homes is explicitly planned as a transit-oriented community, with a future Caledon GO Station proposed at the east limit of the site. At full build-out, the community is projected to house approximately 10,000 residents and support roughly 2,600 local jobs by 2031, a scale intended to meaningfully expand Caledon's housing supply, including affordable housing options, as the town's population continues to grow.
